We are a 501C3 rescue that is sustained entirely by adoption fees and donations. We rescue dogs primarily from Texas since they are the state with the highest euthanasia rate in the US. There are higher fees associated with rescuing dogs from another state due to us having to pay for transport fees. Animals being transported between states need to meet certain health requirements before they are able to travel and may need additional services that wouldn't be otherwise required. This also adds to our fees.
